Lankava 100 KAL - Marja sweater

The first KAL in Lankava's 100-year history has been concluded. Thank you to everyone who participated!

The Marja sweater, designed by Lee Esselström, was inspired by an old rya rug pattern drawing from Kauhava Kangas-Aitta (now Lankava). This beautiful colorwork sweater is knitted from the bottom up using Lankava's Lysti sock yarn.

Pattern details

Design: Lankava, Lee Esselström
Yarn: Lankava Lysti yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamid)
Needles: 80 cm circular needles (for sizes L-4XL we recommend 100 cm cable) 3,5 ja 4 mm, triangular needles 3,5 ja 4 mm (or 40 cm circular needles and double pointed needles 3,5 ja 4 mm).
Gauge: 20 sts = 10 cm over Stockinette Stitch using 4 mm needles. Work a swatch and change the needle size, if needed, to obtain the correct gauge.
