Linen yarns are highly valued in Northern Europe, for a good reason. Linen yarns are made from flax, which is a natural plant fiber. Textiles made from linen are durable and they only get better and softer when you keep using and washing them. The finest line linens have a natural shine to them. Our selection of yarns made from flax include fine linen yarns and thicker linen cords. The natural color of linen is shown in the unbleached yarns. Our selection also includes bleached and colored yarns, to give you a wide selection of colors. Line linen consists of long and fine flax fibers, so it best used as warp. Tow linen has a bit rougher feel and is best used as weft. Wetspun linen yarns have the smoothest surface texture, when compared with half wetspun or dry spun yarns.
