Returns and cancellations

Consumer customers

You have the right of cancellation, within 14 days of receiving your order. For a cancellation, you need to send the item(s) back in original condition and in the original package, within 14 days. Contact us about the cancellation beforehand. Note that you are responsible for the delivery costs of the returned item(s). We will reimburse you once the returned items have arrived at Lankava. If the returned item, or items, have been used, we reserve the right to lessen the reimbursement by the decrease in value. If you wish to return items after the 14-days inspection period, contact us. Orders which have not yet been packed and dispatched can be cancelled without any cost. For cancellations prior to dispatch, telephone us on weekdays.

Exceptions to the right of cancellation:

  • Warps made to order and ribbons, fabrics, etc. cut to desired length: The right of cancellation does not apply to items made or modified on customer request.
  • Items ordered specially for the customer: Items with are not kept in the stock but are only ordered upon customer’s request are not within the right of cancellation.
  • Whole bales and assortments of cotton tricot (T-shirt yarn): Whole bales of cotton tricot cannot be returned due to the high delivery costs. Assortments of cotton tricot cannot be returned. The customer is informed upon order that the assortments are collected from the current stock within the specific colour group, therefore the contents may vary.

Complaints about damaged items or items not corresponding the order

If your parcel is missing items, or contains incorrect or damaged items, please contact our customer service without delay. Lankava Oy will pay for the delivery costs of incorrect or damaged items. Always contact us before you return the item(s).
