Lankava Eko Tube Yarn, hank

Eko Tube Yarn is a recycled cotton yarn manufactured by Lankava, known for its consistent quality and flat structure. In hanks, Eko Tube Yarn is best suited for rug weaving, but also for crochet projects.

Eko is made from recycled cotton, which comes from recycled textile industry waste. Eko is not redyed, instead the recycled material is first sorted by colors and then mixed very carefully to reach certain shades for our yarn.

All the yarns in our Eco-Cotton product range are made from raw yarn, of which 80% is recycled cotton sourced from cutting waste in the textile industry. In addition, 20% polyester reinforcement is added to strengthen the yarn, improving the durability and service life of the finished handmade products.

Note: Color variations between different dye lots occur and products from different lots may vary, because Eko is made from a recycled material. If you use Eko for weaving, we recommend that you wash the yarn before use. The cotton tube yarns shrinks about 10-15% in the first wash.

Washing instructions: Delicate wash at 30°C.
