Alice A Lucet Fork, small
Alice A Lucet Fork, small
This wooden lucet fork is made in Finland by Alice A. Use lucet fork, or knitting fork, to make lucet cord. Lucet cord is a knitted tube made of only two stitches, made with each spike of the fork holding one stitch. The resulting cord is almost a square in profile. You can use a crochet hook or a similar tool to lift to stitches, or even a wooden needle, especially for thinner yarns. Space between the fork spikes is 2 cm. Length of the fork is approx. 15 cm.
Instructions are only available in Finnish, but see the video for how to use the tool.
